Tactical Medics
Galax-Grayson EMS established its Tactical Medic Program in 2009. The goal of this program is to triage, treat, and evacuate patients from within a hostile and or uncontrolled environment. Our Tactical Paramedics are trained and partnered with the Galax Police Department’s SERT team. Galax Grayson EMS currently staffs one Tactical Paramedic and he is available 24/7.
